Parts (in order of use)
- 031 Rear Rocking Axle Frame
- 027 Rear Rocking Axle Beam
- 2 x 3/16" Brass Bearings
- 2 x 3/32" Brass Bearings
- 2 x 8BA Nuts
- 1 x 3/32" Rod
ScaleSeven & Split Axle Modifications
Make new, longer, 3/16" bearings or simply use washers to limit sideplay.
Split Axle Modifications: Perspex? PCB? It would probable be sensible as the locomotive is an 0-4-2 to use this rear axle for pickup.
Instructions
- Locate parts 031, 027, 2 x 3/16" brass bearings, 2 x 3/32" brass bearings, 2 x 8BA nuts, 1 length of 3/32" rod.
- Fold 027 Rear Rocking Axle Beam to shape as per illustration. Twist tabs to retain and solder on the inside seams.
