GWR S12
A modernised version of of the S6 Fish Van built in August 1925. Twenty vans were ordered in October 1924 on carriage Lot 1348, shown on Diagram S12. They differed in having Ashe's ventilators from new, GWR 'C' type self-contained buffers and drawgear and GWR/RCH axleboxes with 9in x 4in journals
