LSWR Urie 'S15' Class 4-6-0
'S15' 4-6-0's were Urie's mainline goods locomotive design and first appeared in 1920. They were of a similar size to the 'N15' express engines, though these were equipped with 5ft 7in driving wheels which enabled the boiler to be pitched 4½in lower than the passenger equivalent. The 180lb per sq.in boiler pressure and 21in x 28in cylinders gave these engines a nominal tractive effort of 28,200lbs.
