MR Johnson 1P

In April 1955 Bath M.P.D. experienced a sudden but temporary shortage of tank engines which led to one of the elderly Johnson 0-4-4 tanks being hastily borrowed from Highbridge shed in order to work the 1805 Bath Green Park - Binegar and its return 1910 Binegar - Bath Green Park. It was the first time for many years that these attractive small tank engines had been used on the main line north of Evercreech Junction.
